The new 2020 Toyota Corolla and Corolla Hatchback are the latest vehicles in the Toyota family to get stylish Nightshade Editions. With the addition of the 2020 Toyota Corolla Nightshade Edition, six vehicles are now available with the bold exterior styling package: the Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Highlander, and Sienna.

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Nightshade Edition sedan is based on the Corolla SE with CVT and gets distinctive blacked-out badging. Available in Super White, Classic Silver Metallic, and, of course, Black Sand Pearl, the Corolla Nightshade Edition sedan boasts a black grille surround, black rocker panels, black heated exterior mirrors, black 18-inch alloy wheels, black window trim, black door handles, and a black rear spoiler. If you want this dynamic and dark sedan, it’ll set you back $22,750 MSRP.

With the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback Nightshade Edition, which starts at $22,290 MSRP, you get much of the same exterior touches as the sedan as well as a black rear lower spoiler, black rear exhaust diffusers, and a black fabric interior. It’s also available in Super White and Classic Silver Metallic as well as Midnight Black Metallic. The Classic Silver Metallic Corolla Hatchback can also be paired with a black roof.

Production Begins for 2020 Toyota Corolla

The Toyota Mississippi plant in Blue Springs has officially begun production for the all-new 2020 Toyota Corolla. The 12th-generation Corolla has a bold new design that makes it look even more sophisticated and modern, and it promises to be an exciting new addition to the Toyota lineup when it arrives later this year.

“We have an extraordinary team in Mississippi building a remarkable vehicle,” said Toyota Mississippi Plant President Sean Suggs. “I can honestly say we get better every day, and it’s because of our amazing team members. I can’t wait to see what happens next for our plant, our community, and as we like to say, the Toyota Mississippi Family.”

The Toyota Corolla is the world’s best-selling nameplate with an incredible 46 million vehicles delivered around the world since its debut in 1966. Today, the introduction of the 2020 Toyota Corolla promises to extend that legacy with the introduction of bolder styling, more powerful performance, and a first-ever Corolla Hybrid that returns an incredible 52 mpg.*
